I like my job as a journalist and travel blogger. I would not consider it as the best job in the world, but at least as something similar. I am visiting beautiful places all over the globe and I am writing about it.
I can give advices to my friends and followers and make them happy. That’s what I like. Writing about my adventures and at the same time giving hints to the most hip and trendy places for their next trips. Or to amazing, almost undiscovered destinations, before they are swarming with other tourists all looking for the same one-of-a-kind experience.
Before I used many times Lonely Planet guides to prepare for my trips, nowadays it’s bloggers who provide me with all the information I need (And: It’s always up to date!).
But still: I often have the Lonely Planet in my pocket!

I love to travel, too, but I am only able to travel once a year with my family.
But that is good for us. It will come other years, when the kids are on their own, we will have more time to travel.

ja, ich habe meinen Traum realisieren können. Aber es war nicht leicht. Angefangen als Beamtin in meinem „ersten Leben“, dann raus aus der Sicherheit, Abi auf dem 2. Bildungsweg und dann das Studium und die Welt! Ich glaube, ich habe auch einfach viel Glück gehabt.
