Travel has taught me more about the world than anything else. I experienced travelling by myself first hand and thus I will always remember it. Long time ago I stopped relying on others and learned to rely only on myself. This was the biggest life lesson for me. Out of this reason I do often prefer to travel alone. I know if all else fails, I can make it on my own. And learning to rely on myself was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

I had also bad times in my life. I lost my mother in an early age and some other persons who meant a lot to me. There is a proverb which says “Time heals everything”. I don’t believe it to be so much about time, but about what I do with that time. Now I can say that I do live life to the fullest and with my whole heart.

Being a journalist was always the dream of my life. From a very early age. I worked on it and I got to it.

My mother knew my passion from the very beginning: Writing. And she always thought for an accomplished life, the most essential thing was independence. Don’t depend on anyone, she’d say to me, that’s freedom. And freedom, that’s the start of happiness. Simple as that. So she encouraged me to start writing young.

Now I can say that almost everything I do is with effort and passion. I can’t tell you how rewarding it is to say that I do my work every day and most of the time I really love it. Most of the time … with a few exceptions!
