Just holidays, unfolding the life in front of me. I decided to embark for a boat trip to a distant and unknown island. Yes, I enjoyed it so much.
The island of Tabarca is a tiny archipelago consisting of 4 islets and reefs. It faces the cape of Santa Pola and is located 3 nautical miles from the nearest coast and more than 10 from the bay of Alicante, city upon which the isle of Tabarca depends since the end of the 18th century. Nowadays Tabarca is a place of natural and cultural heritage. It was the first marine reserve to be awarded such a status in Spain mainly because of its best-preserved meadows of Posidonia Oceanic, marine vegetation endemic to the Mediterranean Sea.
And there is a nice little village on the island with pittoresque houses and streets. I brought some visual impressions with me. Nothing more to say, just enjoy the colors and the special brightness of the sky.
„So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security and conservatism. All of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit than a secure future. The very basic core of a living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.”
