… I was thinking of!

There’s one piece of feedback that I’ve been receiving. I do consider it as a compliment for me because I’ve devoted a bit of time and energy to its development. Well, how can I say: It is something about personality: From writing to photography, to fashion and to editing, it appears that I’ve created a continuity to my presence.

STYLE

Your personal style will always create a tone within your content that will follow through all of your platforms whether your style is glamouros, hippie, retro or rock & roll.

Sometimes I look back at some of the outfits, brands and items I wore in the 1990s and have to smile as I try to remember what was going through my mind at that time. But taking risks and experimenting really is important in the development and evolution of your style. So I stand by those black Satin disco Pants and salute them in the name of my own style evolution!

INDIVIDUALITY

Owning some kind of individuality? That’s cool. But it is not easy. No, it is not. And I don’t just mean the good things that make you an individual, I mean the things that simply make you. You! It can be anything you are doing, even with expressing yourself on your blog. It is easy nowadays with a bit of writing or photography. Sure it may not impress everyone. I have some exceptional human-beings in my life who accept me for who I am and embrace my flaws. However if you are being yourself, you are going to piss someone off at some point which happened to me too. I always try not to let negative people dampen my energy. Being yourself as an individual is always my number one choice, also because you never know who you might be inspiring.

AESTHETICS

Pictures really do speak a thousand words, they communicate so much more than many of us are able to communicate. I try that my photography is able to speak. There’s a reason why the likes on Instagram have changed the face of social media online. We can keep stories constantly flowing.

FEARLESSNESS

You really should have an element of fearlessness and establish your own style without fear of what anyone else says or thinks. I see indirects everywhere, I receive indirects myself every day and they will happen everywhere every day whether you do what you love or not. My advice is just to ignore it and silence those voices. Just be brave in who you are, what you love and how you love doing it.
